Poles pull billions from term deposits as interest rates drop again
In May 2025, Poles held 87.37 billion PLN in term deposits – 5.27 billion less than in April and 7.4 billion below the record set in March. The drop was driven mainly by outflows from quarterly deposits, which fell by 7.48 billion PLN. At the same time, average deposit interest rates declined by 0.04 percentage points.
