Kaczyński Secretly Banned PiS Associations Fearing Loss of State Funding

Jarosław Kaczyński secretly ordered a ban on associations linked to PiS, fearing their activities could cost the party all of its state budget funding. Only a handful of his closest advisers knew of the plan in advance. At an internal party leadership meeting, Kaczyński reportedly spoke openly about the "threat of destroying the party."
