Polish fighter jets intercepted a Russian Ilyushin Il-20 reconnaissance aircraft over the Baltic Sea near Ustka. Defence Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz confirmed the incident, noting the aircraft was gathering data on Polish air defence systems. The Il-20 is an electronic intelligence platform designed to collect information on military infrastructure.
