Greylock Caps New Fund at $1.5B Despite Ability to Raise More

Venture capital firm Greylock has deliberately capped its new fund at $1.5 billion despite having the capacity to raise more. The firm limits itself to around 25 investments per fund in order to remain what it describes as "the most important partner" to its founders. The strategy prioritises depth of relationship with portfolio companies over scale.
