Metal-Organic Frameworks — Chemistry's New Miracle Materials
Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are highly porous crystalline materials capable of capturing and storing gases such as CO₂ and hydrogen, as well as filtering pollutants. Researchers at UC Berkeley are advancing MOF applications in carbon capture, energy storage and targeted drug delivery, making them one of chemistry's most promising new material classes.
