Mexico Asks US Attorneys General to Investigate 17 Mexican Immigrants Killed by ICE

Mexico's government formally asked US state attorneys general to criminally investigate deaths of Mexican immigrants in ICE custody or during raids. Since the start of Donald Trump's second term, 17 Mexican immigrants have died during immigration enforcement — 14 in ICE custody and three during agency operations. The request follows the shooting death of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, killed by an ICE agent in Houston.
