Volhynia Exhumations: Human Remains Found in Ostrówki Village Site

Poland's Institute of National Remembrance (IPN) announced the discovery of one person's remains during exhumation works at the sites of the former villages of Ostrówki and Wola Ostrowiecka in Volhynia, Ukraine. Culture Minister Marta Cienkowska told TVN24 that the area was cleared by sappers before work began due to the presence of unexploded ordnance. "These are very dangerous trips," she stressed.
