Hyundai and SK On Launch $5 Billion EV Battery Plant in Georgia

Hyundai has powered up a $5 billion electric vehicle battery plant in Georgia, built in partnership with Korean battery maker SK On. The facility will supply batteries directly to the nearby Metaplant America assembly plant, where Hyundai's electric models are built. The investment is a major step in Hyundai's strategy to localise its EV supply chain in the United States.
