Rodents Developing Genetic Resistance to Rat Poison, Study Finds

Researchers have discovered groups of rodents carrying genetic mutations that confer resistance to commonly used rat poisons. The finding could seriously complicate pest control efforts in urban areas and on farms. Scientists warn that continued reliance on the same rodenticides will accelerate the spread of resistant animals.
