Russia criticises Polish military drills near Belarusian and Russian borders

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova called Polish military exercises in north-eastern Poland "an inappropriate attempt to flex muscles" and an "unjustified desire" to show force. The drills took place near the borders with Russia and Belarus. Zakharova also commented on statements by former Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki regarding Ukraine.
