Thinking Machines' Inkling model: 975B parameters, open source, video and audio

Thinking Machines Lab has unveiled Inkling, a 975-billion-parameter open-source AI model capable of processing video and audio. The release is the startup's debut model and a direct bid to compete with established players like Anthropic and OpenAI. Its open-weights design lets outside developers freely build on and modify it.
