EU and Ukraine sign world's largest drone defence deal

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced a new EU–Ukraine defence industry partnership during her visit to Kyiv. The centrepiece is the so-called Drone Deal, which von der Leyen described as the world's largest package dedicated to drones. The agreement is intended to boost Ukraine's drone production and operational capabilities.
