Daily market fees of up to several hundred zloty drive up Polish seaside prices

Polish seaside tourists regularly post photos of steep receipts online each summer, and traders explain that municipal market fees — reaching several hundred zloty per day in some resorts — are a major factor behind high prices. On top of product, staff and pitch-rental costs, this additional fiscal charge is passed on to holidaymakers. The situation remains unchanged for the 2025 summer season.
