Thomas Meunier joins Sunderland after leaving Lille

Experienced Belgian international defender Thomas Meunier has signed for Sunderland after his contract with Lille expired. The World Cup veteran bolsters Sunderland's defence as the club competes in the Championship. Meunier previously played for Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund.
