French tennis player Bensoussan's match-fixing ban extended to three years by CAS
The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has extended French tennis player Samuel Bensoussan's ban for match-fixing from just under two years to three years. Bensoussan had appealed against the original punishment seeking its annulment, but the tribunal responded by increasing the penalty instead. The ruling makes him one of the most prominent match-fixing cases in the sport.
