Lodz woman commuted 300 km daily to Warsaw until she fainted

Kasia from Łódź spent one and a half years commuting nearly 300 km each way to her job in Warsaw, until exhaustion caused her to faint. Another woman, Ela, works ten-hour shifts as a rehabilitation therapist at a Warsaw hospital and returns home every evening to Zgierz near Łódź. Both are part of a growing group of long-distance daily commuters in Poland.
