Hungary's Foreign Minister Szijjarto quits politics to join Chinese carmaker BYD

Peter Szijjarto, Hungary's long-serving foreign minister and one of Viktor Orbán's closest allies, has resigned his parliamentary seat. He announced he is taking a job at Chinese electric vehicle giant BYD. Szijjarto was one of the most prominent figures in Hungarian politics over the past decade.
