In vivo click chemistry converts antibodies into tumour-killing ADCs to beat drug resistance

Researchers have developed a method of ligating clinically used therapeutic antibodies to antibody–drug conjugates (ADCs) directly inside the body using bioorthogonal click chemistry. The approach enhances antitumour activity in heterogeneous and treatment-resistant tumours. It could offer new treatment options for patients who have failed standard therapies.
