PSL backs its own candidates for IPN chief and Ombudsman against coalition allies

The Polish People's Party (PSL) has decided to back two specific candidates in upcoming Sejm votes – one for the head of the Institute of National Remembrance (IPN) and one for the Ombudsman (RPO). The decision puts PSL at odds with its coalition partners. The party acknowledges uncertainty about at least one candidate's chances in the Senate.
