ICE suspends most vehicle stops after two fatal shootings in one week
The Trump administration ordered Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers to suspend most vehicle stops following two fatal shootings within a week. A Colombian driver was shot and killed by an ICE officer in Maine on Monday, and a motorist was killed in Houston, Texas the previous week. The suspension of traffic stops is intended as a temporary policy change.
