Poland's first fine for home surveillance of neighbours – over PLN 26,000
Poland's Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) has issued its first-ever fine for a private home surveillance system. The cameras recorded video and audio not only within the owner's property but also beyond its boundaries. After the owner ignored an order to remove or reconfigure the devices, a fine of over PLN 26,000 was imposed.
