Ex-Hungarian FM Szijjártó Quits Parliament to Join Chinese EV Maker BYD

Péter Szijjártó, Hungary's former foreign minister, has resigned from parliament to take up a position with Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer BYD. Szijjártó was a central figure in Hungary's close diplomatic and economic ties with China. BYD is aggressively expanding in Europe, and Hungary has been one of its key target markets for investment.
