19-year-old Maja Koput makes impressive Poland debut in Nations League
Maja Koput, 19, made her debut for the Polish women's volleyball team in the Nations League under coach Stefano Lavarini, just a year after watching her future teammates on television and dreaming of playing alongside them. Poland failed to qualify for the Finals tournament after losing to Japan, but Koput emerged as one of the season's biggest discoveries. In an interview with Interia, she spoke about working with Lavarini and her disappointment after the Japan defeat.
