New 'Alvin and the Chipmunks' Movie in the Works for 2028 Release

Brian Robbins' production company Big Shot Pictures has acquired a stake in the Alvin and the Chipmunks franchise and is developing a new film targeting a 2028 release. The last entry in the series, Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip, came out in 2015. This marks the franchise's first film project in nearly a decade.
