Polish doctors' union: 240 zł/h rate is a dream, but contracts remain the real problem

The National Trade Union of Physicians (OZZL) has responded to the health minister's proposal to set a maximum hourly rate of 240 zł gross for doctors. The union called it a "dream rate" but warned that if such pay is offered through contractor agreements rather than employment contracts, the amount becomes of "secondary importance" — doctors lose employment rights and job security.
