Pope's envoy Cardinal Zuppi visits Russian POW facility in western Ukraine

Cardinal Matteo Zuppi, president of the Italian bishops' conference and envoy of Pope Leo XIV, visited the Zahid-1 Russian prisoner-of-war facility in western Ukraine. He delivered symbolic keychains and a message of solidarity from the Pope to the detainees. Zuppi was accompanied by Archbishop Visvaldas Kulbokas, the apostolic nuncio to Ukraine.
