A Tyrannosaurus rex skeleton nicknamed "Gus" sold for $50.1 million at Sotheby's in New York on Tuesday, setting a new record for a dinosaur fossil at auction. With 183 fossilised bones, it is one of the most complete T. rex skeletons ever found, discovered in 2021 on a cattle ranch in South Dakota.
