Polish doctors' union demands triple the average wage for full-time specialists

The Polish National Trade Union of Physicians (OZZL) is demanding that full-time specialist doctors earn the equivalent of three times the national average wage. The union also calls for limits on working hours and the adoption of a "one doctor, one job" principle. It additionally criticises NFZ caps on diagnostic procedures and opposes a proposed hourly pay ceiling of 240 PLN gross.
