Makarska becomes first Croatian city to ban overnight alcohol sales

Makarska, a popular Adriatic resort town in Croatia, has become the first city in the country to introduce a nighttime ban on alcohol sales. The measure is aimed at curbing rowdy tourist parties that overwhelm the town each summer. The decision was reported by Croatian public broadcaster HRT.
