Peter Brook's 'The Mahabharata' Gets BFI Blu-ray 4K Release in August

BFI will release Peter Brook's 1989 film adaptation of "The Mahabharata" on Blu-ray on August 10, presented in a new 4K restoration. The edition features the triptych version running 332 minutes, sitting between Brook's three-hour cinema cut and the six-hour television version. The film is considered one of the landmark works of epic theatrical cinema.
