Manila's Tondo district: poverty-stricken slum called "Auschwitz of the Philippines"

In Tondo, a district of Manila in the Philippines, tens of thousands of people live in extreme poverty in one of the world's largest slums, nicknamed the "Auschwitz of the Philippines." Fires, destitution and a lack of stable shelter are everyday realities there. Children growing up in Tondo know no other world.
