Ex-EA DICE dev: Ubisoft and Embracer bosses deserve prison for layoff decisions

A veteran EA DICE developer, now working on Helldivers 2, publicly slammed the leadership of Ubisoft and Embracer Group over decisions that led to massive layoffs across the gaming industry. He stated he does not understand why those executives have faced no legal consequences. He also warned that 2026 will bring another brutal round of cuts for the games industry.
