Scrapping CPN package to push Polish inflation up to ~3% in July
Economists at Erste Bank Polska estimate that the government's withdrawal of the CPN package will add 0.8 percentage points to Poland's inflation rate in July, pushing it to around 3% year-on-year. For the second half of 2026, they forecast inflation staying between 3% and 3.5%. The estimate was issued in response to the latest data from Poland's Central Statistical Office (GUS).
