Violent storms swept through Silesia province on Wednesday, causing widespread destruction and transport disruption. Fire services responded to around 150 call-outs, and two scout camps were evacuated as a precaution. Roads and railway lines in the region remained seriously disrupted as crews continued clearing the aftermath of the downpours.
