Fourth attempt to elect IPN head — coalition nears deal on Mateusz Szpytma

A fourth attempt to elect a new head of the Institute of National Remembrance (IPN) will take place on Friday. The issue has repeatedly been pulled from the Sejm's agenda due to disagreements within the ruling coalition over the candidacy of Mateusz Szpytma. The PSL party, which backs Szpytma, says the coalition is "on the right track to an agreement".
