Israeli soldier gets 5-year suspended sentence for spying for Iran

An Israeli court has sentenced a soldier on compulsory military service to five years in prison, suspended, for conducting intelligence activities on behalf of Iran. The soldier was arrested during a joint operation by the Israeli military and counter-intelligence services. The case came to light through inter-agency cooperation.
