Oil spill contaminates 5–6 km of Kuban coastline — state of emergency declared
On July 14, an oil product spill was detected along the shoreline in the Temryuk area of Russia's Krasnodar Krai. The contamination stretched approximately 5–6 km of coastline, from the Chushka Spit to the village of Kuchugury. The Kuban operational staff declared a state of emergency and launched a response operation.
