Gibraltar–Spain border fence removed after historic EU–UK treaty

Spain and Gibraltar are celebrating the removal of a border checkpoint following a landmark treaty between the EU and the UK. The dismantling of the physical border fence ends years of separation and opens a new chapter in relations between the British territory and the European Union.
