Supergirl movie flops at box office, new adaptation already in the works

Supergirl, directed by Craig Gillespie and starring Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El, flopped at the box office with an opening weekend comparable to the widely panned Joker 2. Despite some positive critical reception, the film failed to attract audiences. DC is already planning a new adaptation of the character.
