Ukraine PM Svyrydenko resigns at Zelenskiy's request after one year in office
Ukraine's parliament voted on Tuesday to accept the resignation of Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, who stepped down after just one year in office at the request of President Volodymyr Zelenskiy. Zelenskiy offered little public explanation for the reshuffle. Some lawmakers expressed concern over the abruptness of the change; Svyrydenko is 40 years old and an economist by training.
