VW to halve model range and deepen China partnership in turnaround plan

Volkswagen plans to cut its model range by half and reduce configurations by 75 percent as part of a turnaround strategy. The German carmaker will not wind down its cooperation with Chinese partners. The goal is to preserve its position as a technology leader in the automotive industry.
