21-Year-Old Dies Fleeing Police on Motorcycle at 140 km/h — Prosecutors Investigate

A 21-year-old motorcyclist died during a police chase after a patrol car travelling at 140 km/h overtook him in an attempt to cut off his path. Prosecutors have opened an investigation, and both the National Police Headquarters and legal experts are being questioned about the limits of permissible police intervention. A legal spokesman noted that the outcome of an intervention does not automatically determine criminal liability for the officers involved.
