Polish army to receive just 3 Borsuk infantry fighting vehicles in 2026

According to the HSW Group's 2025 annual board report, the Polish Armed Forces will receive only three Borsuk infantry fighting vehicles in 2026. The figure is strikingly low given Poland's ongoing military modernisation needs. The Borsuk programme is intended to replace the ageing Soviet-era BWP-1 vehicles in service with the Polish army.
