Forgotten faces of ancient Aquincum brought to life at Hungarian exhibition

A new exhibition in Hungary presents detailed facial reconstructions of ancient residents of Aquincum, a Roman frontier city located on the edge of the empire. The reconstructions, based on skeletal remains, allow visitors to see the faces of people who lived there nearly two thousand years ago. The exhibition offers a rare face-to-face encounter with the inhabitants of the Roman world.
