UN: Sudan's war economy making conflict 'self-perpetuating'

The UN human rights office (OHCHR) has warned that Sudan's war economy is making the ongoing conflict self-perpetuating. The office called on warring parties and corporations involved in the supply chain of Sudanese commodities to comply with international law. The report indicates that commodity trade is financing the fighting and hampering prospects for peace.
