Polish data authority fines homeowner 26,000 zł for neighbour-facing CCTV
Poland's data protection authority (UODO) has fined a homeowner over 26,000 zł for failing to comply with an earlier order to remove CCTV cameras pointed at neighbouring properties and a public road. The penalty is the first of its kind issued for non-compliance with a UODO decision on private surveillance. The cameras were deemed to breach personal data protection regulations.
