Polish health authority: children selling homemade lemonade at fairs not subject to food law

Poland's Chief Sanitary Inspectorate has clarified that children selling homemade lemonade, juices, fruit or baked goods at fairs, picnics and holiday events are not subject to food law regulations or sanitary inspections. The authority nonetheless reminded participants to observe basic hygiene rules. The statement comes amid growing popularity of children's summer selling ventures.
