Crunchyroll Locks Its Store Behind Mega and Ultimate Fan Subscriptions From August

Starting in August, Crunchyroll's retail store will only be accessible to subscribers on the Mega Fan and Ultimate Fan tiers, locking out free Guest users and those on the basic Fan plan. The change to the Crunchyroll Store has angered anime fans who say the platform is increasingly restricting access. Crunchyroll is one of the world's largest anime streaming services.
