Shackleton and Scott shipwrecks recreated in 3D after deep-sea expedition

Canadian scientists have explored the remains of ships used by legendary polar explorers Ernest Shackleton and Robert Falcon Scott, lying more than 300 metres below the surface of the Labrador Sea off Canada's coast. The expedition produced detailed 3D digital reconstructions of the wrecks. Researchers describe the current moment as a "golden era for shipwreck investigating".
