Belarusian swimmer Herasimeniya attacked at Warsaw's Western Railway Station

Belarusian Olympic medal-winning swimmer Alaksandra Herasimeniya was attacked at Warsaw's Western Railway Station on 10 July 2026. She spoke about the incident to Gazeta Wyborcza, saying she "lost her balance" as a result of the attack. Herasimeniya is one of the most prominent Belarusian sporting activists in exile.
